There are individual cases where there may
be external obstruction or if a very large opening window is required,
the tilt-and-turn window is ideal as it offers dual position for
controlled ventilation and the turn position for easy cleaning
and access/exit in the event of fire.
The heavy duty hinging system allows us to fabricate
windows to much larger size parameters than casement windows,
and is a popular choice in terraced houses and other types of
property which would originally have been fitted with timber sliding
sash windows – with the various optional enhancements available
as with casement windows, the tilt-and-turn window can be used
to re-create the character of a bygone age.
